Andrew Fenton

Senior Managing Director

Andrew Fenton is a Senior Managing Director at Shadow Lake Advisors. Andrew focuses on the origination and execution of mergers and acquisitions as well as capital raising for founder and family owned businesses. He is an established finance executive with more than 20 years of experience across M&A, high yield fixed income and public equity investing. Prior to Shadow Lake, Mr. Fenton was a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Skyway Capital Markets primarily advising privately owned businesses. In 2016, Mr. Fenton was a co-founder of a successfully listed REIT on the New York Stock Exchange focused on specialty industrial properties.

Mr. Fenton has extensive capital markets experience having previously spent time at Credit Suisse and a $4.0+ billion high yield investment fund owned by Macquarie Securities. At Macquarie, Mr. Fenton focused on lending to the paper & packaging, chemicals, financials, real estate and building products sectors. His experience includes managing nonperforming as well as performing loans and bonds including numerous work-out scenarios in 2007 and 2008.

Mr. Fenton has additional investing experience as a Vice President at Sorin Capital Management, a hedge fund focused on debt and equity investing and as an Analyst at long/short equity hedge fund Cliffwood Partners, based in Los Angeles. Mr. Fenton began his career at Raymond James & Associates as an Equity Research Associate. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
